Fortnite is known to have been in development for the last 8 years and was first shown almost 3 years ago at the Spike Video Game Awards. The upcoming game developed by Epic Games and is Free to play and due to be release later this year.
Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival game where the team have to create a base by gathering resources within the environment. This game is unique as it gives the player the chance work with the level design while they defend waves of incoming enemies. By adding the level design feature teams are able to build levels to there preference and enjoy a different scenario every time. The objective is to create a base that is designed to protect the objective points for as long as you cans.
Epic Games have released a new Gameplay Trailer which demonstrates nothing less than sheer fun and visual creativity when defending your base. Tim Sweeney founder of Epic Games say’s the game is described as “Minecraft meets Left for Dead”. I can only hope that Epic Games have captured the difficulty aspect from Left for Dead and personally look forward to playing the game with a friend on Xbox One later this year.
