Good news for Xbox Live Gold members, and decent news for those of you who are Silver members. The Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Playable Demo is now available for all Xbox Live Gold members! Those of you that are using a Silver membership will get access to the demo on January 28th, so keep your eyes open for it.

Players who decide to drop into the demo will be given control of the returning Lightning as she travels through the now chaos infested “Yusnaan Palace” which previously belonged to an old ally, Snow. This demo will also give players the chance to get a hands on feel for Lightning’s new customisable options, you can also get your very own hands on experience with the game’s new, and completely overhauled battle system.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available both digitally and at retail from February 14th 2014!
