Start your engines, rev up your Xbox and get set because Bandai Namco Games have announced the release window for the newest entry into their Formula One game franchise. F1 2015 will be hitting stores and digital markets in June 2015, which is earlier than previous years. Fans of the series will know that the last two iterations of the fast paced racer have released in October. With this earlier release date you will be able to race alongside the Formula One season which will be airing on BBC and Sky Sports F1.
F1 2015 will mark the debut of the game on the new generation of consoles, bringing with it higher fidelity graphics, smoother frame rates and much more intense action. It will also be coming to Windows PC. The game will feature a brand new version of Codemaster’s proprietary EGO game engine which will bring players closer to the real-world experience of racing in the world’s most glamorous and prestigious motorsport. In addition to the leap in graphic fidelity on the new generation of consoles, F1 2015 will offer a step forward in the physics-based handling model of the game, which is designed to be inclusive for both seasoned players and those new to the series. The handling model is said to offer enhancements and additions in over 20 areas, which include the engine, transmission, aerodynamics, suspension and most notably tyre physics, which will recreate the handling characteristics of the world’s fastest and most responsive racing cars.
