When originally released in April 2014 (on PC and MAC), many fans of the Elder Scrolls series bought the Elder Scrolls Online to explore the vastness of Tamriel in all of its glory. When it was announced though that not all areas would be available at launch it came a a bit of a shock to many, key areas of Tamriel such as its heart; The Imperial City.
The Elder Scrolls Online (or ESO for short) is a game set 1000 years before the events of Elder Scrolls series previous to ESO. The events of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim have yet to occur, so you are free to make your alliances and explore the world before the Empire was created and united people under one banner. Though now we can expect the areas of the game that were previously not available to players to become available through game updates. PC players will already be exploring the newest DLC which unlocks the Imperial City, though it will not be the place you were familiar with from Oblivion.
Under occupation from the Daedric Price – Molag Bol, the three alliances of Tamriel must work together to claim back the city and drive the demonic forces out for good. Though before because this alliance of factions as a fragile thing, be wary that you will not just be facing deadra but possibly the ally fighting along side you.

- New Quests, enemies and characters
