Remember that film where some film makers get lost in the woods and someone cries into a camera? Well it’s now coming to Xbox in the form of a game. (I actually liked the film and the reboot a few years back)
Yes, thats right. During this years Xbox Presentation we where shown a teaser trailer of what to expect in Blair Witch.
As you can see in the trailer whilst not in-game footage we are shown something that at first feels very much like Outlast. We are shown someone roaming the woods with a dog clearly looking for something – or someone. Naturally if you’ve watched any of the films – we wont mention The Blair Witch 2. Something inhabits the woods and people generally don’t come back. The official synopsis of Blair Witch reads:
It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…
