Rare fans, rejoice! We have great news for you. They were here in force during the Xbox presser and they had a couple of great things to show you, let’s go over it.
First off, Rare have announced that coming in August, a collection of 30 Rare games for $30 will hit the Xbox One. This will include games such as Battletoads, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Viva Pinata and many many more. It’ll also have 10,000 Gamerscore for those of you who just love getting that gamerscore value for money spent. This collection is as astounding deal, with some games being very old to some being out just last generation.
But that’s not all we got. A new game by rare titled Sea of Thieves was announced. What looks to be a cross between a survival game, and a pirate game, this multiplayer focused, stylized game is coming to Xbox One. There was footage of looking for treasure, skeletons coming to life, and most importantly, multiple players all doing different things on a pirate ship. Whether it was captaining, climbing up to the crows nest or firing a cannon, all of this was being done by different players.
Finally, we have a Pirate game that doesn’t have anything else to focus on, and it looks fantastic.
