The moment all Gears fans have been waiting for, the Gears of War Ultimate editions has been confirmed.
The Ultimate Edition will feature the original Gears of War campaign in glorious 1080p and is due for release on Xbox One on August 25th.
The Games multiplayer has been announced to be running at 60fps, however the single player framerate has yet to be announced.
August 25th! I can’t wait that long I hear you, well worry not because you can get your hands on the multiplayer through a beta, TODAY!
We were also treated to the first look at the next in the franchise Gears 4, unfortunately there is a bit of a wait for this one, as it’s due for release Holiday 2016, but Microsoft are describing this as a ‘new saga’.
In the gameplay we were introduced to 2 members of a brand new squad, we have what we believe to be the main protagonist, JD, and his partner and un-named women. In the gameplay we see them tracking something, which is later revealed to be a brand new enemy (which we also know nothing about as of yet)
Gears 4 is looking like it will be the darkest, and grittiest Gears adventure to date, and I for one can’t wait. Check out the gameplay below.
