It’s finally been announced! The release date for Doom on Xbox One will be arriving on May 13th and I for one can’t wait to get back into the FPS alien shooter!

Not content with just announcing when you can see the game on shelves, Bethesda have also released details on the “premium collector’s edition” and bonuses for those of you that decided to pre-order the game.

The collector’s edition will include an exclusive “ battle worthy metal case” as well as a 12” Revenant Statue! This isn’t just any old Revenant statue though, it comes on an LED-lit base with an “internal, slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars”! Not too shabby!

There’s also the pre-order bonuses. Players that pre-order the standard or collector’s edition of Doom will be entitled to the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which contains “a unique demon armor set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colors” and this also comes with three ID logos that you can apply “to weapons and armor”.

Another pre-order bonus you can expect to see are six “Hack Modules”, Which according to Bethesda are “one-time consumable items that can give you an edge in a multiplayer match.” Can’t beat an extra helping in those multiplayer matches.

The Doom collector’s edition is available to pre-order and will set you back $120/€130/£100. You can also pre-order the standard edition if the collector’s edition isn’t your thing.
