Bandai Namco (formerly Namco Bandai) have announced the first DLC pack for the third instalment of From Software’s genre-defining Dark Souls series. Ashes of Ariandel sees the Unkindled One sent to a Grim Black Metal Northern Land, possibly to transport and/or retrieve the titular ashes for some sinister purpose. What purpose? Who knows! DARK SOULS.
The team also promise new gear, new magic, and some exciting new multiplayer additions yet to be revealed. Watch the trailer below, featuring Axe Viking, Bastard Wolves, some excellent crumbling masonry and murder by soup:
