Deus Ex has always been a focal point for games that push choices and make you think, with the up coming Mankind Divided the question might just mirrors social justice issues that are common in real life.
The question is something that Square Enix and Eidos have had to deal with in the build up the games release (which is at the end of this month). The issues of someone being objectified in society by the way they look or who they are, in Deus Ex the social issue is not about race, it is about human augmentation.
The story carries on from 2011’s Human Revolution, in which you play as Adam Jensen in an attempt to overcome his new augmented body and find his kidnapped love interest. The game was refreshing and allowed players to chose a play style rather than pigeon-hole you into a single path narrative.
The latest (and launch) trailer for this highly anticipated sequel has dropped and I challenge anyone to say this does not look like one of the best games to be released this year.
