With the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron releasing on the 20th September. Bungie and Activision have announced the release of Destiny – The Collection which will feature the new adventure as well as all the previous instalments and the standalone game itself. Destiny – The Collection is suited to all new players or those just moving to a current generation console. It also may be a cheaper alternative for those who bought one expansion and never invested in the rest (the boat I’m in).
Players who do pre-order Destiny – The Collection will be given the standalone game as well as the first three expansions, The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King. This gives new and returning players time to grind through the previous instalments in preparation for the release of Rise of Iron in September.
As an added bonus, pre-orders will also receive a black and silver Iron Gjallarhorn. Y’know the overpowered PVE rocket launcher.
