Coinciding with the release of Destiny in New Zealand, as it’s technically Tuesday there, the Destiny servers have gone up in the US Europe. What this means is that anyone who already has their copy of Destiny (as some were sent out early) can now enjoy the game.
Many different Twitch channels are already streaming the game ahead of it’s release at midnight, and the game seems to be in full swing. Though it’s unclear at the moment if those who pre-loaded the game on their Xbox One can currently log in and play, it’s possible that with the servers being available that this will have unlocked for everyone to play.
Destiny, the newest shooter from Halo creator, Bungie, brings MMO Tropes to an online focused shooter. With Raids and Strikes for people to co-operate in, it feels much like World of Warcraft in some ways, and is a fun blend of Borderlands and, of course, Halo. The game sees it’s full release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One tomorrow, though many stores are putting on Midnight events for you to pick up your own copy tonight.
