Bungie have stayed true to their word when they said that there would be a lot more to come along with The Taken King Expansion for Destiny. The game play expansion is not the end of the updates, here we see another store being added to the trading outpost in the Tower; the store will be run by the returning character of Tess Everis
Tess will run the Eververse Trading Company which will sell 18 brand new emotes, if you did not purchase the Taken King collectors edition and did not have the new emotes that some players are using then now is your chance to get in on the action. The emotes will have no actual game play benifits and is purely for atheistic reasons, you will in no way be forced into purchasing these items.
Bungie have announced that you will not lose in the Crucible or unable to complete a strike because you do not have the right emote, it is simply for looking at ad showing off to your friends, fireteam or fallen enemies in the Crucible.

A new currency will also be introduced to the game which will belong exclusively to the Eververse Trading Company, the currency will be Silver and this will be the only way to purchase emotes. Now Silver will be available for purchase through what are known as micro-transactions, this means that you will be able to purchase Silver through Xbox Live (or PSN) which will be added to your characters inventory in game. Essentially you are paying more money to have something new in the game but will not give you any impact or advantage over any other players in the game.

The new update will go live on Tuesday 13th of October.

What do people think of this new announcement, have you possibly gave enough money to Bungie and Activision and do not wish to give them any more money? We would love to hear the opinion of Xbox Live and our community on this matter.
