With games like Player Unknown: Battle Grounds being confirmed for Xbox, The Culling as part of the Xbox Preview Program and Friday the 13th having been released recently it looks as though sandbox survival horror games have really taken off lately. With such great games being released you could be forgiven if you missed Dead by Daylight: Special Edition coming to Xbox on the 20th June.
Dead by Daylight: Special Edition is a multiplayer action, survival, horror game that pits 4 ‘Survivors’ against a supernatural killer. As one of these survivors players must use whatever is at hand to make it through and escape with your life. Players will have a selection of skills to help outwit the killer and will also be able to use the environment in order to escape certain situations.
The killer has access to a set of unique skills which can be used to capture the survivors and sacrifice them. Deformed hillbillys, mad doctors, undead nurses and axe wielding maniacs all await the chance to pacify the demonic forces thirsting for sacrifice.
Will you be able to outwit and escape the killing grounds or will you bring ruin and appease the demonic gods? Remember, death is not an escape.
