Over the course of the weekend sites have been speculating a new title coming to Xbox Game Pass. Speculated by IGN, Pure Xbox, Game Rant and many other sources, it is near enough confirmed on Twitter.
Control which was released by Remedy Entertainment in 2019 is heading for the game subscription service. The Twitter account for the service posted tweet that pointed very heavily to the fact.
Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment appear to have a good relationship. The creation of Alan Wake was originally an Xbox Exclusive before moving to multiplatform. There was also the Video Game/TV Show hybrid, Quantum Break.
The two have worked well together and while there is no apparent acquisition of the Studio by Microsoft. This working relationship will bring more players to the games Critical praise via Game Pass.

If you were one of the unlucky people, such as myself, who picked up Control recently on the Xbox Black Friday sales, you won’t be gaining much here. Though for people who are unsure or even on the fence about the game, it cannot hurt to try on Game Pass. The game should hopefully be coming to Game Pass in December. If you didn’t find any deals on Black Friday that took your interest, you could still have a new game to play.
The service is praised as the best deal in the games industry at the moment. The service allows access to a library of over 300 titles, games can be played on Xbox, PC and streamed to mobile devices (with a smaller catalogue) if you are a Game Pass Ultimate member.
Remedy’s previous title Quantum Break is already on Game Pass as well as Alan Wake. Those games alone would have have a gamer occupied for a while at least. The games also bolster the excellent gameplay and stories that Remedy are not afraid to aim for.
