Conan Exiles Free Weekend

Starting from tomorrow (Thursday 18th), Conan Exiles will be free to download and play.

Conan Exiles is a survival game that is set in the fictional universe of Conan the Barbarian. At the start of the game we are able to create a custom character to explore the world with. The character creation is quite detailed and literally everything can be customised.

The game begins with the player being sentenced for various crimes, only to be rescued by Conan. Once rescued we then become Exiled and wander the land of Hyboria. During these adventures we also have to manage a range of stats that are synonymous with Survival games. With the constant need to manage hunger, thirst and warmth, we also have to contend with the games wildlife. As well as other players via the games PvP system.

I managed to play Conan Exiles during it’s early access stage. I found the game to be some lacking compared to ARK, which was released around the same time. Whilst the overall character customisation and the world is huge, its only limit (as with any open world survival game) is finding something to do.
