I will be the first to admit that Advanced Ware is taking steps away from the brown mushy mess that COD has appeared to be the past few years. I have never been a fan of the series, but this is the first game that I have genuinely wanted to buy and every time I see new DLC it makes the game look more and more fun. So here we have a trailer for the second Advanced Warfare DLC which is named Ascendance.

With big names returning in Exo-Zombies Infection, Ascendance brings back the big names from the first outing of Exo-Zombies as well as new maps and weapons to have many hours of fun with.

With new hybrid LMG (light machine gun) and Shotgun weapon( called the werewolf) to help mow down your foes online, this weapon looks to be a good game changer for online play. There is also a grappling hook that looks to be useful way to navigate a level, but also doubles up as a weapon which could be stealthy and ammo conserving.

New maps look to boast some very pretty designs that show off futuristic architecture as well as sewers to fight your online skirmishes in. There is Site 244 which is an alien ship crash site in front of a very iconic looking American structure that is the perfect setting for a battleground. The intriguing looking Chop Shop looks to be a more seedy and shady battleground where wrong doings are afoot. While Perplex looks to be a harbour side home unit area where you will have to climb and navigate the housing units that make up the level. Then Climate mixes the foliage of a jungle with the urban setting of a sewer system.

So wither you are starting to get intrigued by COD: Advanced Ware yet like myself or already a hardcore fan of the series, then this DLC pack along with the previous DLC is more than enough reason to take the plunge.

Ascendance will be available for download on Xbox systems 31st of March.
