Earlier this year developer The Behemoth announced that it would be releasing a remastered version of its hit indie game Castle Crashers on Xbox One. They have now revealed that Castle Crashers Remastered will be available to purchase on September 9th. If you bought the original Castle Crashers on Xbox 360 and have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription you will be able to get Castle Crashers Remastered for free between September 9th and September 20th. If for some reason you don’t fancy the remastered version then don’t worry because Castle Crashers will be playable on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility when the feature launches later this year. The 2D beat ’em up debuted on Xbox 360 seven years ago in 2008 to critical acclaim and was published by Microsoft Studios. Take a look at the announcement trailer for the remastered version below:
