Developer Revolution Software have announced that Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is coming to Xbox One this summer! Broken Sword is a series that dates back to 1996 when the first game The Shadow of Templars was released. Dormant for some time, there was no assurance that the point and click adventure game franchise was as popular as it had once been but when a Kickstarter campaign was launched to help fund a new iteration of the series in Broken Sword 5, the community responded fervently to push the campaign past its goal in just 13 days. Whilst Broken Sword 5 has been released on other platforms since its completion, there has been a noticeable clamouring by Xbox adventure game fans to bring the title to Xbox One and now their wish will be fulfilled with Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Games Store.
