Independent developer Nnooo have announced that their new endless shooter Blast ‘Em Bunnies is making it’s way to Xbox One on March 11th! As an extra bonus for Xbox users you can pre-order Blast ‘Em Bunnies or the Super Mega Bundle containing the game, 5 arena packs, 5 skins packs and 3 multiplier bonuses from February 10.
In Blast ‘Em Bunnies you take control of a cute (or creepy depending on your point of view) bunny called Bang Bang and you’ll have to take out the onslaught of evil bunnies that are after your rabbit burrow. The ringleader, the evil Throatslitter (just the kind of name you’d expect for a bunny), also has your offspring held hostage.
To survive as long as possible you’re going to have to grab either your carrot rifle, watermelon machine gun, turnip mortar or runner bean laser and take them all down. You can shoot coins to collect them and spend them on new weapons, upgrades and ammo including sticky raspberries, heat seeking chilli seeds, shredding leek lasers or bouncing, splitting, exploding pumpkin bombs!
Nnooo have out together a fun, frantic first person shooter with a dark side! Any game that has a bunny slit throats is kind of dark.
You will find over 50 medals to be unlocked and missions which refresh on completion or daily you’ll always be faced with a challenge. For those of you looking for an extra challenge you’ll find the Survivor mode which can be played on Easy, Normal, Hard & Very Hard (where you’ll need to survive as long as you can) or you can try out Slaughter mode in Normal, Super or Ultra difficulties, where you’ll need to survive for 2 minutes with weaker weapons and health depending on the difficulty.
Each battle takes place in an arena with bunnies continually spawning to try and bring you down. You’ll come across Runners, Walkers, Burrowers, Grenadiers, Blockers and Bosses all trying to defeat you. You’ll see the Throatslitter will try to dispatch your young ‘uns and unless you unleash Frenzy Mode you won’t be able to hit the Golden Bunny when it appears!
