When I first heard this news, all I took in was “BattleBlock Theater”, “free” and “Games with Gold” and immediately attempted to download it on my Xbox One. Sadly, this title is only available for free on Xbox 360 as I have just discovered. If you own an Xbox 360 – do not miss out and give it a go! It’s been on my to-play list for a while after hearing nothing but good things about it.

BattleBlock Theater, a co-op platformer, has been a massive hit on Steam and due to this success was then released on Xbox 360. Like any platformer, it looks frustrating and chaotic at times but the strange mechanics and generally strange gameplay make it look like a unique gaming experience.
Unfortunately, this is still on my to-play list but for you Xbox 360 owners, BattleBlock Theater will be available from now until the end of July so be quick – and enjoy!
