Square Enix appear to not only have partnered up with Marvel in a very nice manner, they are also bringing on board veteran developers Eidos and Crystal Dynamics to work on a new Avengers game. The game will be released next year to cash in on the media high of Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, which is set to be one of the biggest films of 2018.
The trailers does not exactly show a lot, there is a lot of broken equipment and a voice over which sounds like a rally call. The game may or may not follow the events of the film, but another Avengers game could be a good things. There has not really been a stand out game featuring the Marvel mega team up since “Marvel Ultimate Alliance” on previous gen consoles.
We do not know much apart from this trailer, but you can bet we are going to follow this with baited breath and anticipation. Roll on 2018.
