It is becoming standard practice for most big budget games to release a season pass to both expand and enhance your game play experience. This brings us to the latest Assassins Creed title from Ubisoft, Assassins Creed Unity is set during the French revolution in the first “next gen” exclusive outing for the series. The season pass for this game has been announced, so far here are three reasons to purchase your season pass.
Arno’s Journey in Paris
This in an expansion of Unity itself including new missions within Paris and allowing new equipment for Arno. New equipment comes in the forms of outfits and weapons to help you further explore and expand your game play experience this includes the “Fleur de Lys” sword which is a downloadable weapon. Any and all content you find in the game will be useable in the “Dead Kings” DLC.
Assassins Creed Unity – Dead Kings
Dead Kings will take Arno out of Paris and to the town of Saint Denis after the events of the main Unity Storyline. Saint Denis is a rural city with a link to the Royalty of France and the real resting place of the French royal family and was sacked during the French revolution. The necropolis under the city is a labyrinth of tunnels to navigate and get lost within, while also encountering a new faction of enemies known as “The Raiders”.
Equip yourself with the new weapons and outfits that will be introduced with this DLC the Ubisoft have announced as their “Darkest story ever told in the franchise” which should be interesting. Take control of combat situations with the new “guillotine gun” which is used like a primitive grenade launcher and can also be used as a melee weapon (an axe to be precise).
Assassins Creed Chronicles – China
This is a whole different game with a new and different perspective (2.5 Dimensional) never seen before from the franchise. You will transported to 16th century China where you will take the role of Shoa Jun (fans of Assassins Creed Embers may remember her) and her tale of revenge as the last remaining member of her brotherhood. With the game play elements relying heavily on stealth instead of all out attacking makes for a more tactical experience combat experience.
This game add-on has an incredible art style which almost looks hand drawn, also finally being able to take your Assassins Creed experience to the middle east which has been a outcry from the fans for a while. This is shaping up to personally being a selling point for this season pass bundle and making me excited for the game overall.
