With so much hype being built up around Assassin’s Creed Unity, it has been easy to forget that there is another big Assassin’s Creed game being released this year as well. Assassin’s Creed Rouge is the story of Shay Patrick Cormac and how he turned against the brotherhood.
The trailer really seems to give the game a lot of weight that seemed to have been lacking. In the trailer we see appearances from Adéwalé, Achilles Davenport and Haytham Kenway. This brings a lot of famous faces together and lets you pinpoint whereabouts this game is set in the series, though it answers none of the questions of what is happening in the present day in the Assassin’s Creed story.
Rogue seems to be setting up to be something special and continuing on the naval combat which appears to be missing from Unity. The story is a much darker tale than previous iterations from the series. When the game is released we shall find out all about Shay and what his tale actually consists of.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is out for release on Xbox 360 on the 14th of November.
