Microsoft has confirmed that the April firmware update for the Xbox One is being rolled out to everyone starting today, with a lot of features that have been talked about being added to the console.

Several of the key updates contained within this patch were leaked by the testers of it, though a few of them didn’t seem to quite make the cut for this update. What it does contain, are the Game and App Saves and Updates, improvements to the Friends List, Kinect Fine Tuning, improved video quality using the GameDVR, Controller and Headset adapter updates to increase audio quality and a silent reboot after system updates.

The full list of changes with more details can be found on Major Nelson’s blog post, here

For those of you not in the preview program, you have a lot of improvements to look forward to here, as the Xbox One is starting to become a fantastic piece of hardware, with improvements coming out very regularly. Microsoft seems to be working extremely hard to improve things across the board for Xbox One users, and it’s been received well so far. It’s all looking up from here.
