Since Saints Row 4, Volition and Deep Silver have been a bit quiet. What started out as a gang spin off of Grand Theft Auto ended up with a totally unique identity of its own. The Saints Row series allowed us to do crazy things and all with a hint of nostalgia, whether it be unique flavoured outfits or great use of 80’s music.
Now it seems Volition are back with a spiritual successor Agents of Mayhem that looks to build on what they had before. To me it looks like Saints Row looked at Crackdown and was like, some of that please. Oh and lets capitalise on the whole Marvel Avengers group thing, except lets through in some TV references to The A-Team and Knight rider.
