You play as Auk a girl with the ability to transform between a human and a bird at will and soar effortlessly among the fully exportable islands and shrines as you visit nomads, spirit animals and ruins of long lost ancient civilisations.
Floating islands left behind after a great calamity shattered the world. With a new catastrophe looming over this broken world, Auk must travel the world to learn more of life the preceded her own. With a distinct low poly style AER is designed to be mysterious and beautiful as you explore soaring vistas, encounter secretive temples and solve the puzzles within. Explore the world at will in this unrestricted and vast world. Uncover the enigmas at the heart of the game as you transform freely into bird form and fly free with the flight mechanics as you sip and dive below waterfalls and over mountains or revert to human form and venture down into temples and old ruins of those who came before.
