Not content with helping spread pure Blue Crystal Meth across ABQ with his former Chemistry Teacher, Aaron Paul has taken to helping Microsoft spread the power of the Xbox One across the globe. However the advert below has begun to frustrate a few X1 owners.
With the “Xbox ON” statement owners are reporting their black boxes are coming to life and awaiting the next command; as you can guess after a “What the…?” the X1 is promptly turned off by its bemused owner, or if they’re anything like me they’d think, ‘Well what the heck, I’m here anyway!’ and have a game or twenty-seven.
Looking at Social Networks people are finding this both annoying and amusing. Qassim Farid wrote, “Aaron Paul just turned my Xbox One via the Xbox Advert. (Which triggered the IR blaster to switch my TV off.)” Meanwhile, Tom Neal tweeted “@Xbox your new TV advert is annoying the hell outta me. Aaron Paul keeps turning my console on? Stoooop.”
However it has to be said not all of the globe is screaming that this advert is turning on the Xbox, so I think it’s safe to say that this is a rare occasion and all be it annoying to those it’s happening to it does sound pretty cool to those of us that are watching from the outside.
