Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have unveiled their first person survival, battle royale game: Fear the Wolves.
Vostok Games are the developers behind the PC exclusive S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R series of games (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky & Call of Pripyat) are set in an alternative universe where a second explosion at the Chernobyl plant has altered the environment even more. Players step into the boots of a Stalker, who’s job it is to enter the irradiated zone to find what caused the explosion and seek out the mysteries within.
With the Announcement of Fear the Wolves is easy to see that it has been heavily influenced by the developer’s earlier works.

Fear the Wolves is an 100 player vs player Battle Royale game. Players either in squads or solo are dropped into the desolate nuclear wastelands of the Chernobyl nuclear power station. Players will have to scavenge for equipment whilst fending off against other players as well as the deadly anomalies that stalk the zone.
This is a fresh look at the ever prominent “Battle Royale” style of gameplay and Vostok Games has promised a dynamic weather system as well as a day/night cycle to mix the action up. Another game mode was also teased, however no information was given as to what this mode is.
Fear the Wolves will be coming to Xbox One in 2018.
