Perfect World Entertainment has released a new update for its free-to-play strategic hero shooter Gigantic. The newest update, called Season of Souls, features a new hero called Ezren Ghal along with the first new map called Ember Grove and a few other features. Profile icons allow players to choose their account icon to show of there unique style while founders can now show off their status as early supporters of the game with exclusive icons. Text chat during hero confirmation was added on community request. The chat has been extended to the hero confirmation stage allowing teams to strategies the composition before locking in. Other features include improvements to the bot match ups, a shop user interface update and new hero interactions in battle.
Ezren Ghal is a caster hero who wields necromancer style powers, he drains the souls from his foes during combat and turns them for powerful abilities to attack. Ember Grove is the stage for this ghoulish update and its just in time for Halloween just around the corner. A dense and mysterious battleground it is home to the ancient bugwitches. It offers options to gain high over foes as well as plenty of little hidy holes and crevices to out manoeuvre foes. Ezren Ghal also has new skins available in the shop including Opulent robes skin, Eternal skins as well as other colour variants for players looking to show off there mastery of this new reaper.
