For those of you who have not heard of this game, do not fret as there will be a gameplay trailer in this article featuring this stunning little indie title. Morphite is an atmospheric, exploration sci-fi shooter; all of that together sounds like one hell of a mash up, though from the trailer it looks to pull off what it has set out to.
The game is set in a distant future where humanity has achieved its goal of colonising the stars and venturing into the far reaches of space. Morphite follows the story of Myrah Kale, a woman whose life takes a sudden turn when an everyday mission develops into an interstellar adventure. The adventure forces her to take a look into her past and find out what the mysterious substance known simply as “Morphite” actually is.
The games simplistic art style works very much in its favour when put into the rich backdrop of exotic planets and space travel. The game is looking to be an interesting blend of action, adventure with some part driving/flying in there for good measure.
