Today came a surprising and welcome announcement from the halls of Xbox, there will be a new scheme for players to access over 100 titles for a monthly fee. Now this subscription is set to be $9.99 (roughly £7.99) for access to this “new gaming subscription service”, head of Xbox, Mr Phil Spencer, announced this today.

The service will give subscribers access to titles from both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with games from publishers such as 2K, 505 Games, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, Capcom, Codemasters, Deep Silver, Focus Home Interactive, SEGA, SNK CORPORATION, THQ Nordic GmbH, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft Studios.
There does appear to be a great deal of talented studios on that list, which is hopeful for great games being added to this Xbox feature. A quote from the article on Majornelson.com states the following –
“Some of the fan favorite titles coming to Xbox Game Pass when it launches to the broader Xbox community in late spring include, Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16 and SoulCalibur II.”

Members of the Alpha Preview Ring of the Xbox Insider program will be first to trial this new program before it goes live to the public.
