So here we are, 2017, a brand new year with a whole year of new Xbox titles on the horizon. And it couldn’t get to a better start with the recent addition of Pit People to the Xbox Game Preview Program. Pit People is brought to you by The Behemoth who brought is fantastic titles of Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater. These two titles were my favourite arcade games for the Xbox 360 and if you have yet to try them, they are available via backwards compatibility. Any-who, enough ramblings, here’s a game-play trailer of the early access title:

It still keeps its origin artwork of Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers but the mechanics are something new to the series. From the trailer I get a feeling of something like The Banner Saga and Fire Emblem being able to recruit characters/creatures in battles. It looks to combine the right amount of comedy with RPG, and I am sorely looking forward to playing it. So look for my inevitable review and update posts.
