Xbox One exclusive Reversi Quest has an official release date now. This table-top RPG hybrid has a firm date set for the 15th of July this year. Recently, there have been a slew of table-top style games launched for Xbox One including the addictive Hand of Fate, The Living Dungeon, and Pure Chess has also been slated for an Xbox One release too.
Reversi Quest’s nine chapter campaign centres around two warring Kingdoms and the unification of the island of Otherlia. The player takes on the role of a mercenary from outside the kingdom and set on a quest to unite the island by building a force of troops and gathering equipment while exploring the many dangers the island has to offer.
Touted as a simple to play but difficult to master game, Reversi Quest is based on the classic game of Reversi and has an interesting premise in its turn-based RPG gameplay with dice throwing an integral part of gameplay. Players will use different dice depending on the situation and they can earn benefits like healing and gaining troops depending on the square they land on.
Reversi quest was developed exclusively for the Xbox One by an ID@Xbox supported two-man studio called Yokogosystems. It will launch in July and is currently priced at $14.99, with the price in Sterling to be confirmed.
