As April comes to a close, we have ourselves another batch of free games on the horizon.
For Xbox One between the 1st of May and May 31st, Defense Grid 2 will be available to all gold members. Defense Grid 2 offers a science fiction tower defense game with co-operative modes to offer.
Halfway through the month, from the 16th of May until the 15th of June, users can also pick up the charming Costume Quest 2 by Double Fine Entertainment. Although this kid-friendly adventure game looks simple, it has the charm and mechanical weight of a Final Fantasy title.

And don’t you worry, Xbox 360 users: although Microsoft may have ended production of the console, they’re still dishing out the free content.
The 360’s first title available between the 1st and 15th of May is Peggle. Old-school gamers will instantly feel the charm of this title and its Bust-a-Move-meets-pinball addictiveness. With a large collection of levels, characters, power ups and versus mode, this is a great title to keep on your system.

From the 15th until the 31st of May, Grid 2 (they really have a thing for grids this month) will be available on Xbox 360 in case any of you have had the urge to play a racing game recently. And don’t forget about backwards compatibility either, keep that games library full for a rainy day (or month).
