After a little impromptu break we are back with some Games Release news for you all to get excited about! We only have two releases this week so I won’t take up too much of your time.
Dark Souls 3 – 12 April 2016
First up is Dark Souls 3 from FROM Software, released on the April 12.
If you hadn’t heard that DS3 was released tomorrow then I’m pretty impressed considering all I’ve seen online lately is DS3 news, reviews, screenshots, play trough’s, boss info etc. It’s been hard to escape it.
Some of you, including myself thanks to a certain online retailer, will already have your digital or disc copy already so know what to expect. For those of you still to play, you’ll also know what to expect if you’ve already played previous games in the series.
If this is your first Dark Souls experience then you’re in for a treat/numerous hours of dying and losing your sh!t, cause you will die, a lot. Also cry in frustration/anguish that you’ve been bested by a boss or monster again. Maybe that’s just me….
Anyway, you can pick or download your copy from tomorrow as you make your way to Lothric.
I’ve purposely left out any trailers as I know some people want to go in blind and would rather not know any details. If you’re wanting to see them all again then mosey on over to YouTube where you’ll find plenty. The True Colours trailer is my personal favourite.
Soda Drinker Pro – 14 April 2016
Next up is a game called Soda Drinker Pro, written by Will Brierly, that you can get from April 14.
The game is essentially a soda drinking simulator taking place in different environments. The aim of each environment is to finish your soda then move onto the next place. You have a soda meter in the left hand corner that shows you how much you’ve got left in your cup.
As a little extra you can find a secret game called Vivian Clark that has been compared to games like Wario Ware, LSD: Dream emulator, and other abstract type games, if that kind of thing tickles your fancy.
There’s not much more to say than that but you can check out the trailer for it below.
