With the release date for Dark Souls 3 creeping ever closer for the European and North American audiences, the lucky nation of Japan are already playing the game as we speak right now. Though to tie us over Bandai Namco released a new trailer on their YouTube channel for the game, the title of the trailer is Accursed.
The trailer does seem to start off quoting the original game and what effects the lighting of the first flame had upon the world. This appears to tie a direct link in between Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3, this could be more to do with the fact that Dark Souls 2 did not have the original minds behind the game and now for instalment number 3 we have the A team back in the job.
This grand trailer shows off not just the dangers, it also showcases the games stunning visual design and how it has been used not just to create hideous monsters but a world that appears to be dying. This truly appears to be the Magnum Opus of FROM Software and their work on the Souls Series to date.
We very much look forward to the April 12th release date and losing ourselves in a world of torment and punishment.
