Saudi Arabia has positioned itself at the forefront of the eSports revolution as part of its drive to the Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify and modernise its sports and entertainment sectors.
The Gulf State has invested heavily in eSports, hosting major international tournaments such as Gamers8 and the ongoing eSports World Cup while nurturing a vibrant gaming community.
