Ubisoft have announced that from Today, that their latest expansion pack for their MMO Driving game The Crew® will be available for worldwide digital download with a physical edition releasing on the 19th of November on Xbox One.
The Expansion pack known as “The Crew Wild Run” players will have to undergo the biggest challenge in a driving game to date, Players will undertake “A Summit” challenge. These challenges will have players showcasing their driving talents on various terrain. Each challenge or summit will last three days on average and will be located in the many of the game’s iconic US locations. Two Qualifiers will be held every week and after a month of intense competition the greatest participants will gain access to the monthly Summit Finale where they will battle for the the title of King of the road and also for an all new exclusive vehicle. Players will also have the chance to challenge friends in FreeDrive activities allowing them to set up their own race in the game’s massive open world sandbox. New speed and skill challenges as well as stunt competitions will also be available on time with brand new trials designed specifically for the specifications of the new vehicles.
Today Players will also receive a free patch that includes a graphical update, newer lighting effects, redeveloped areas for all vehicle types and an all new weather system. Lastly the trial version of the game will also receive and updated meaning that all players regardless of platform will receive two free hours of gameplay. They will also have the opportunity to play through the game’s prologue, to explore the world, to start a co-op or singleplayer campaign, participate in Extreme Spec Trials to get a feel for Drift cars, Dragsters and monster trucks or visit the in game bike dealer to test-drive the motorbikes available to purchase.
