New Xbox One Experience Coming Soon!

Microsoft have unleashed a ton of information on the New Xbox One Experience, coming on November 12th! The huge overhaul to the Xbox One comes with several exciting new features such as:

• The new Xbox One Home – A far faster and more efficient social platform experience, this will be the first thing you will see when you turn on your updated console. With a completely overhauled menu layout it will allow you to see what your friends are up to easier, allow you to see and share video’s with less hassle, give more engagement and  allow more access to social content.

• The New Guide – The new guide giving access to party invites, messages and notifications has been designed from the ground up with everything available with a single button press – you don’t even need to leave your game.

• New Community Area – See the latest info from your friends and even the game developers themselves right in your activity feed! Using your fully customisable avatar you can like, comment and share right from the comfort of your console.

• Redesigned Store –  The store-front on the Xbox One has been updated to optimise the content to be more appropriate for the user while also allowing you to find movies, games, TV and music easier than ever.

• The New OneGuide – An updated TV listing platform letting you see trending shows, browse new content without interrupting what’s currently running and an optimised experience while looking for that particular show you want to watch.

• Play Xbox 360 Games! – The new update will also be the official launch date for the backwards compatibility function of the Xbox One. With over 100 games from the Xbox 360 playable at launch and hundred’s more coming out over the coming months, just slap your 360 game into the Xbox One console, download the game onto your hard drive and enjoy!

This update also marks Microsoft’s plan to make all of it’s major systems run on the Windows 10 platform and with that comes the Cortana app that has been available on the PC version of Windows. Using your Kinect camera you can ask Cortana to search the net, find out what your friends are doing, launch games by voice and much more!
