Halo 5: Guardians launched to great fanfare on Monday, officially unleashing the highly anticipated game to worldwide acclaim. The Halo 5: Live event was a multi-hour YouTube extravaganza held after the London launch event, and here, among the many awesome things that happened are the top ten highlights from the evening:
- Story Roundtable – Nathan Fillion (voice of Gunnery Sergeant Reynolds) joins the writers for a discussion on the Halo Universe.

- Master Chief Made Fabulous! – Renowned costume maker Hsu Chia-Hao joins jewellery designer Jenny Manik Mercian to create a crystal-studded Master Chief helmet.
- Celebrity Halo Tournament – Nine invited celebrities (including Xbox mastermind Major Nelson) duke it out in the new Halo multiplayer.
- Dance Battle! – Spartans duke it out on the dancefloor.
- Voice Actor Roundtable – Meet the voices behind several of the characters from the popular franchise.
- Meet the Superfan – Milynn Sarley travels to Germany to find superfan and collector Lena Sanger.
- Behind the Scenes with Fall of Reach – A behind-the-scenes look at the new animated series.
- Minecraft Community Creations – The first trailer for Halo 5, remade with cubes.
- Pro Player Battle – The Halo pros take each other on in the new Halo multiplayer.
