Look, I’m as flummoxed as you probably are. This isn’t the first promotional partnership between a game publisher and a drinks brand, of course. Halo and Mountain Dew have had a well-documented link over the years, and Red Bull have recently been providing codes for exclusive DLC on their own products.
So Bethesda have signed a deal with another soft drink company to produce Nuka Cola, right? Right???
Well, no. In actual fact, Bethesda have linked up with Danish firm Carlsberg to produce a limited-edition Fallout Beer. It’ll be available from November 5th on Amazon’s UK site, and you can reserve a case right now.
I’m sure there’s a meme here somewhere about this being the best video-game related beer in the world, but I think I’ll leave that up to others…
