It’s almost upon us. Halo 5: Guardians will allow us to finally discover the truth about Master Chief‘s apparent disappearance, why Spartan Locke is tasked with finding him, and what the hell is really going on.
To celebrate Halo 5’s release this week, today marks the start of our Halo Month here at XBLG. We’re celebrating everything Halo, from the main series games, to Halo Wars, to the novels, just everything Halo!
We’ll be posting many different articles for you to read about Halo, comparing the two developers visions for Halo, what has been succeeded by the franchise already, and even some refreshers on the vast amount of Lore behind the Halo games that you may not know about or might confuse you a little bit. Reviews of previous Halo games, sharing our love of the Halo franchise and much, much more will be appearing throughout Halo Month, so remember to keep checking for new content!
Besides that, we’ll also have video content for you to consume. Various Hype videos as well as footage from upcoming tournaments and games played by our team here, and YOU, will be going up on our YouTube Channel. We at XBLG will also be playing a match of Halo 5: Guardians against Xbox themselves, and will stream and record so you can watch the action as it goes down.
No only that, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to get yourselves stuck in as well, with our Halo 5 Tournament. You can also participate in submitted your own Halo Clips, whether it be epic, funny or just plain weird. Share it with the community and there may be some things coming your way.
There’ll be giveaways and competitions too, so you, the community, can win a bunch of different Halo related goodies to help you get ready for Halo 5. Some freebies will even include Halo 5 Theme Desktop Wallpapers and Scorecards, so you can show off your Halo skills.
