The creators of Tangle Tower and Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together! have returned with their latest game, an inspired take on the 90s survival horror game. Crow Country is available now for Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5 and Steam.
The abandoned Crow Country has just opened up its rusty gates for exploration, and as one of the brave few who step inside, it’s up to you to get a good look around and discover its nasty secrets. But be warned! It’s not an easy journey, and the dark truth awaits you within.
As Mara Forest, a young woman determined to understand why the mysterious Edward Crow closed his park in the first place, you’ll use limited resources to survive against mysterious monsters that stalk the eerie tranquility of Crow Country, overcoming the many puzzles and challenges that stand between you and a most disturbing enigma.
You’ll hunt for clues, encounter curious characters, and immerse yourself in a handcrafted, richly atmospheric game-world evocative of late ’90s pre-rendered graphics (move the camera and you’ll find it’s actually 3D!).
What’s more, if things get too intense, you can try exploration mode, turning off enemies and combat and instead providing more of a spooky adventure. You can even play with classic “tank controls,” if that’s your bread and butter.
