At the very bottom of the 18+ section at EGX 2015, just beside the entrance to the press area were two little booths. These booths were home to to presentations that were being held every 30 minutes, one side was showing Hitman and the other Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I managed to get in at the tail end of a presentation to Deus Ex on the first day, though showing up right as the presentation started meant I would have to stand for the full 25 minute presentation.

The presentation was of game-play footage and all footage was running in game, so nothing unexpected was going to show up on screen. As many of the trailers have shown we are resuming the role of Adam Jensen in this game, Adam is now part of a special task force which is dispatched on special missions. Adam believe some super power is in control of his task force and might be pulling the strings for a lot of major events; he believes this group is the Illuminati

After the events of Human Revolution the world seems to view human augments as outcasts and treat them with extreme prejudice, attacks on people in the street and civil unrest are major issues that occur all around you in the game. Local police forces are now armed with exo-skeletons to help combat people with mechanical augmentations.

The game was extremely pretty and we were walked through an early section of the game where Adam meets on of his contacts in a train station, the location might have been Prague though I had not slept in 36 hours at this point so please do not quote me on that.
The game was running very smoothly and showcased off a lot of Adams new upgrades and abilities, there are more non-lethal and lethal options to upgrade your character with. The full game from start to finish can now be completed without killing a single person, this does include boss battles. The dev team listened to one of the biggest complaints from Human Revolution and took this into mind, so players now have a whole array of augments that are non lethal to attack enemies with. The Tesla fist shoots little taser bolts from the knuckles and can lock onto 4 different enemies, this will be a less messy method and a very quiet way of taking down enemies.
The other side of the coin is people can still go in all guns blazing and kill every enemy they see on screen if they choose to do so. Adam can now fire blades from his robotic arms at very high speed making them an extremely deadly projectile weapon that can also pin dead bodies to a wall; for those people who like to send a message. A lot more abilities were on show but I will not list all of them.

Depending on what your play style is going to be in the game can effect the dialogue choices you obtain in conversations within the game. The demo we watched had Adam killing his way through a base to get to his target, when he reached his target the conversation was heated and without reason because Adam had killed all the soldiers guarding the area. Though we were assured that if you used non lethal options or sneaked past the entire battalion of guards that the target would be more reasonable and more forthcoming with information.

The game looks ridiculously pretty and will still have an amazing sound track to accompany the game on release. The game play footage on show was released at E3 and yet you experienced an extra dimension to the video with the developers actually narrating events over the top.
