According to a post on Xbox Wire, those looking for an Xbox One console this holiday season (that’s Christmas to you and I) can get a 1TB console and three games beginning this November for the measly sum of $399. Using my immense knowledge of current exchange rates, I calculate that’s about £1.75 in real money.
Games included with the bundle are:
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition for all you gun nuts who just thought the assault rifle was lacking in the chainsaw department.
The 30-game Rare Replay Collection for the more classically-trained gamer,
and Ori and the Blind Forest, a game with such mesmerizing environmental design that I sometimes choose to put it on simply to improve the décor of my living room.
Those who play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox Live no later than December 31st will also unlock the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection to play on Xbox One through backwards compatibility at no additional cost.
AND FINALLY: Microsoft has also announced another Xbox One bundle that will include Rise of The Tomb Raider coming this November as well. UK release date and price are yet to be revealed.
I expect Xbox may well gain some new followers this season.
