As the end of the month draws near, it’s that time of the month where we find out what free goodies we get for having Gold on Xbox Live for October.
Starting with Xbox One, the entire month of October will have Valiant Hearts: The Great War for free. This game from Ubisoft using the same engine for their more recent Rayman games is multiple stories set during World War 1, and has been known to be a bit of a tear jerker.
Keeping up the trend of crying, from the 16th of October through to the 15th of November, Season 1 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will be available for all Gold Subscribers on Xbox One. One of the most popular TellTale franchises at the moment, The Walking Dead has been critically acclaimed, with 2 seasons under it’s belt currently.
For those of you who still play your Xbox 360, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be free for the first half of the month. This prelude to The Phantom Pain tasks Snake with rescuing comrades from an Army Base. While short, a multitude of side missions makes Ground Zeroes a really good intro for what the main game of Metal Gear Solid V has to offer.
The second half of the month, starting on October 16th, Xbox 360 users will also be able to download The Walking Dead’s complete first season.
