The Xbox One Elite Controller, which Microsoft recently unveiled, now has a release date according to the Microsoft Online Store.
The Elite Controller, priced at $149.99 (£119.99) so far, comes with adjustable and replaceable parts, as well as a built in app that allows you to change the mapping of all buttons on the controller. It also adds four paddles on the rear of the controller that can be programmed to whatever you need it to be, as well as replaceable thumbsticks and D-Pad.
This controller will also allow you to store up to 2 different configurations on the controller itself, while the app can hold many more. These two specifically saved configurations are physically on the controller, so if you take it to a friends house you can switch between these two without having to access the app itself.
According to the Microsoft Store, the new controller will release on the 27th of October, the same day as Halo 5: Guardians.
