There’s an entirely new Xbox Dashboard coming soon to the Xbox One, and it’s supposedly at least 50% faster than the current one. Much like the previous New Xbox Experience on the Xbox 360, this one comes with a complete redesign of the consoles operating system, upgrading it to Windows 10 much like Microsoft has been encouraging with those on previous versions of Windows.

While this new dashboard doesn’t roll out properly until later in the year, members of the Xbox Preview Program can get their hands on this new dashboard an test it out before it’s finished and ready to go. To do this, Preview Members have to go into their Preview Dashboard and Opt In. This is because the new dash isn’t exactly finished, and it has some problems.

If you’re a member of the Preview Program and are curious about this, beware that there are some games that are having trouble launching with this update. Big games that have been hit with stability and graphical issues are Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Forza 6, Elder Scrolls Online, and the newest expansion for Destiny, The Taken King.

There are an amount of other games, including Elite: Dangerous and D4, that are also having issues, as well as an amount of different apps that are available for the console.

While these will be updated out of the operating system rather quickly with new preview updates, it’s important to be aware that these could affect your day to day use of your Xbox One. If you are in the Preview Program and don’t wish any of these apps and games to stop working, you don’t have to do anything, so don’t worry.

Are you excited about this new dashboard? Will you be testing it early?
