55 days is all the is left, yet that is still an incredible amount of time to have to wait before the world finally gets its hands on Halo 5: Guardians. 343 Industries who are the creative team behind Halo 5 released the opening cinematic for the game this morning online. Here we gladly present the Halo 5 opening cinematic.
We get a glimpse of what the story actually is at the beginning of the game, yet there is no Master Chief. The absence of John starts to make you wonder if his is the minor role in the game and that Fireteam Osiris are your main play team?
Fireteam Osiris consistes of –
- Spartan Jameson Locke – (Featured in Halo Nightfall) Former ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) Acquisition Specialist, an expert in asset recovery, tracking and elimination of high value targets.
- Spartan Edward Buck – (Featured in Halo 3: ODST) Former ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) performing at the highest level, service record read “If he were any better he would be a Spartan”; looks like he made the cut.
- Spartan Olympia Vale – Former child prodigy, expert in languages which led to a career as a Navy liaison with the Sangheili (The Elites) post -war.
- Spartan Holly Tanaka – After surviving the glassing of her home world, Tanaka joined the army, looking for a chance to save other form the same fate.
